Getting Going

Well, I've started a blog. We'll see where this ends up. I used to keep a handwritten journal, but that fell by the wayside years ago. I just couldn't keep it up. But typing is faster, and I can do this anywhere. Besides, with a new garden this year, there's more to write about! (and remember for next year...)

Spring is amazingly early this year - everything is weeks ahead of schedule. The lilacs will be done soon, instead of their usual Mother's Day appearance. The daffodils are nearly over, and they're often going well into May! The Minnesotan in me wonders what summer will be like... Hot and dry? I read a forecast calling for cool and damp - I'd take it! So far, we're warm and dry and it's beautiful.
