The work started up again today. I haven't yet been home to see it, but hope it's finally more
construction instead of
destruction. Now they've been putting things in - electrical and plumbing stuff - but it's all involved cutting many holes in our walls. And of course they can't be patched until the inspections are done... So it looks like we really haven't gotten anywhere and that it's actually worse than when we began!
The electrical inspection was due for this morning, and the general building one for tomorrow. Then the improvements better really start showing up!

| This has something to do with venting the sink. I'm not entirely sure how, given that it's across the room, but it passed inspection. |
